- You can renew your domains in two different ways: manually or automatically.

Manual Renewal
If your domain is set to manually renew, you’ll receive multiple reminder emails and you’ll see a red Renew button or an alert sign in the upper right-hand corner of your account once your expiration date gets close (about 45 days prior). At that point, you’ll have two choices:
Click on the alerts in your account:
- If you’re not automatically directed to your My Products page, make sure to click on the My Products tab:
- Now you’ll be able to click on the red Renew button next to your expiring domain, or an alert notification in the upper right side of your account:
- Follow the prompts and complete the checkout process.
Or, turn on automatic renewal:

Automatic Renewal
The best way to ensure that your domain remains available to you and only you is to turn on auto renew.
