DEDICATED SERVER RELATED FAQs
You can partition the second, non-primary hard drive of any Windows dedicated server with two hard drives. For more information, see Partition your second harddrive (Windows).
You cannot partition Windows Virtual Private Servers (VPS), which do not support two hard drives.
To access Simple Control Panel on your Dedicated Server:
- Open a Web browser and go to:https://ipaddress:9999/
Where ipaddress is the IP address of your dedicated server.
- When the Simple Control Panel login screen displays, enter the user name and password you defined when you set up your dedicated server account.
- Click Login.
If you cannot reboot your server manually, you can restart it by requesting a power cycle.
- Log in to your Buydomains.com.ph account.
- Click Servers.
- Next to the server you want to use, click Manage.
- From the Support section, click Request Power Cycle.
- Review and confirm your request.
Note: Please allow up to 30 minutes for your Virtual Private Server (VPS) to fully reboot and up to 1 hour for your dedicated server to fully reboot.
Yes. Your backup is completely self-managed, and you have control over the scripts and programs you run on your dedicated server. To automatically back up your data, you can create a scheduled task in Windows or a cronjob in Linux.
Your server’s control panel might also have a utility to automate backups.
